Apple Crisp

Filling:

6 McIntosh apples, peeled and diced into 1/2-inch pieces
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 teaspoon cinnamon 
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
2 tablespoons granulated sugar

Topping:

1 c all-purpose flour
1/2 c old-fashioned rolled oats
1/3 c granulated sugar
1/3 c brown sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c unsalted butter, melted


Mix apples, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar in bowl. Poor in baking dish. Stir together the flour, oats, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt until blended. Stir in melted butter until evenly moistened crumbs form. Spoon over filling.

Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes or until bubbly.
